International Journal of Science &
Critics – A peer-reviewed journal accepts Research
Articles, Review Articles, Short Communication and Scientific
Findings.
The size of research papers is not
constrained. In the greatest interest of the readers and the spread of the
work, we do strongly advise authors to be as concise as possible (Maximum
6000 words including abstract, references, tables and figures).
Review papers
often concentrate on works that have been published during the last five years (Maximum
13000 words including abstract, references, tables and figures).
Short Communication
providing relevant and sufficient scientific information (Maximum 2000
words, including references, tables and figures).
STUDIES INVOLVING HUMANS & ANIMALS
The author should make sure that the work
has been done in line with The Code of Ethics of the World Medical Association
(Declaration of Helsinki) for studies involving humans, if the study uses human
subjects or human data. According to the Recommendations for the Conduct,
Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals, the
article should follow their guidelines and strive to include representative
human populations (sex, age, and ethnicity). Gender and sex should be used
appropriately. The ‘Ethical Statement’ part of the manuscript must have a
statement that includes the project identification code, the date of approval,
and the name of the ethics committee or institutional review board.
All animal experiments must adhere to the
ARRIVE guidelines and be conducted in accordance with the EU Directive
2010/63/EU for animal experiments, the National Research Council’s Guide for
the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, or both. The authors must also
explicitly state in the manuscript that these regulations have been followed.
The sex of the animals must be noted, as well as any influence (or association)
that sex may have had on the study’s findings.
Peer Review Policy
International Journal of Science &
Critics – A peer-reviewed journal uses a single
anonymous peer review procedure. The Chief Editor will first determine if each
submission is appropriate for the journal. Papers that are judged appropriate
are subsequently sent to at least two independent, experienced reviewers who
will evaluate the paper’s scientific merit. The Chief Editor is in charge of
making the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of an article.
Editors are not involved in choices on papers that they have authored, have had
authored by relatives, friends, or coworkers, or that are about goods or
services in which the editor has an interest. Such submissions must follow all
standard journal policies, and peer review is carried out independently of the
pertinent editor and their research teams.
